Hello.

First of all sorry if this isn't a place to post this.

I recently bought an orange pi one. And I'm using Armbian OS. (Latest version downloaded from Armbian website)

But there seems to be a problem with WiFi and i searched all over the internet and i didn't found anything about it.

So here is how it was:

First time that i wrote the Armbian OS on the SD card and configured it (as said by the Armbian website I didn't connected the WiFi dongle) and after doing those stuff I did connected the WiFi dongle to it. It worked fine, but after some mins both LEDs were on. And nothing was working. I did the things I said above many times and the same happend. And once I did those and instead of putting it away with WiFi, I keept it connected to the tv with hdmi, and again after some mins system stopped. This time LEDs went off and display went off too.!

After that I reconnected the power to it. Lots of errors about setting CPU too 480mhz... (something like that) and it did boot again. And with WiFi, same problem did happend. But without the WiFi dongle it works fine.

Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks

I use 5v with 2a power supply.

What's the output of

sudo armbianmonitor -u
armbianmonitor -c $HOME

Please do execute the first command first, get back to us with the support URL and be aware that the 2nd command might take some time since it checks your SD card for errors.

Should I do these commands with WiFi dongle in USB port or without it?

Since you always run in troubles with connected WiFi dongle of course without.

sorry i couldn't copy terminal output so i will write the results of the second command here:

health summary: ok

performance summary:

sequential reading speed: 20.54 MB/s

 4K random reading speed: 5736 KB/s

sequential writing speed: 8.91 MB/s

4K random writing speed: 146 KB/s (way too low)

i use an 8GB, U1 300x micro sd card, i used it before on my raspberry pi and it worked fine.

i forgot to say, the dongle has an LED on it, when i use it with my orange pi, it wont turn on (but wifi works)

after that i did this fix it seemd that it lasted more then before on WiFi.

Thanks again for the fix.

You provide insufficient DC-IN. The aforementioned fix leads now to the SoC being most of the times fed with 1.1V instead of 1.3V. If it it's now a bit more stable then this is a confirmation that the following is necessary: Replace your PSU with something that works more reliable and ideally measure voltage on the respective test points on the board.
