patching.log looks "fine" , suppose these patches are valid for upcoming 5.9 ( 5.6 and 5.8 kernel onwards? ) as 2/ is related to the scrollback being removed in rc6. 

Just not sure what 1/ the general packaking patch does, but as said on overall looks good! thanks

It adjust packaging to meet our packaging format which is slightly different than Debian's. At most important that its alright.
