Snowcrash Posted December 10, 2021 Share Posted December 10, 2021 Hi, I have a board (x301) that contains a T962X2 (which is supposed to be like a 905x2 but for smart TVs?) I am trying to boot armbian, but I cannot manage to make anything load the DTB I obtained (tl1-t962x2-x301-2g.dtb) thru dumping the android boot partition. Since a t962x2 is supposedly equivalent to a s905x2 I thought I'd use a s905x2 uboot.ext and change the DTB, but even if I change it the old one is used... How do I make u-boot load this dtb? I tried with both balbes150 build and a build from here But the u-boot logs keep referring to the previous device. (I changed the fields in extlinux.conf - FDT and the commandline APPEND part, seems to have no effect). Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
SteeMan Posted December 10, 2021 Share Posted December 10, 2021 You can't use an android dtb. dtbs are kernel specific. So a dtb coded to a vendor supplied android kernel isn't going to work with a mainline kernel. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
