alexparser Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Hi all! I use Linux 3.4.112-sun7i on Limo2 (A20), how to I can do update libstdc++6 from current 4.8.4 to >= 5.2? Regards,
zador.blood.stained Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 As far as I understand it depends on default compiler version, which depends on OS release. 4.8.4 matches current version for Ubuntu Trusty. You can try Ubuntu Xenial images - they have libstdc++6 version 5.3.1

alexparser Posted September 6, 2016 Author Posted September 6, 2016 OK, you right, Xenial build have libstdc++6 5.3.1But this build don't have functionality like the Trusty, I talk about I2S/slave mode. Maybe possibly make upgrade the libstdc++6 up to >= 5.2 for Trusty - what you think?
zador.blood.stained Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 But this build don't have functionality like the Trusty, I talk about I2S/slave mode. AFAIK this does not depend on OS release, only on kernel configuration Maybe possibly make upgrade the libstdc++6 up to >= 5.2 for Trusty - what you think? It has giant list of reverse dependencies, if anything depends strictly on older version (i.e. gcc), it will break, and not in a good, easily recoverable way.
