Nope i power it by USB type-B but i power the diod frop gpio pin 4 and 6 and i want to turn of power in pin 4 or 6 to turn it off

Nope i power it by USB type-B but i power the diod from gpio pin 4 and 6 and i want to turn of power in pin 4 or 6 to turn it off (what i want to do is to power supply diode that i conect to thinkerboard via pin 4 and 6 and i want to make it trun off and on after some time (like for scanner (flashing diode = = scanning

 etc)) )
