mt7921on Orange PI 5 (Mediatek wifi6)

Anyone have any success getting this module for new MediaTek WIFI 6 adapters?

I've tried this backport of the mainline driver but get this compilation error.

You need to backport the driver of mt7921 from mainline to kernel 5.10.

I've already made a patch: https://github.com/amazingfate/armbian-h68k-images/blob/master/backport-v6.0.16.patch

Hi @David Markeydid you have any lead for this driver? I have mediatek wifi 6 as well, and now i am struggling to find a way to make this work for my orangepi5

hi @amazingfate thanks for sharing your linux-image-kernel and dtb, I did try it, but it cant boot at all after install on my orangepi 5, i tried to flash your image in the  repository as well, and face the same issue, it seems it is not compatible with orange pi 5, also i didnt mention, I use mediatek wifi 6 usb, so I need MT7921U enabled on kernel. did you perhaps have any idea on how to enable this modules?

@Darwin wuusb wifi modules are not supported in my backported kernel.
