Orange Pi Prime - no temperature monitoring in kernels 6.1 and 6.2

Hello,

I'm trying the currently offered Armbian Bookworm images for the Orange Pi Prime, using kernels 6.1.30 and 6.2.16, and notice that there is no support for SoC temperature monitoring, neither in armbianmonitor, nor in /sys/devices/virtual/thermal/. Is that a known issue?

An older Armbian image that I have downloaded previously, using the kernel 5.15.93, shows the temperature just fine.

Copying DTBs over from the older image into the new one (6.1) does not solve it.

This requires patching, I'm not sure if it has been submitted yet.

You are more than welcome to test it.

A similar patch is also needed for the A64.

Sorry, somehow I didn't get a reply notification of your post.

On A64 (Orange Pi Win) I do not have this issue.

I did not try the patch, but got the 6.4.1 development image a few days ago, and tried that just now, and can confirm the temperature monitoring is working again in that kernel.

Now the same image is no longer offered on the download page for some reason though.
