Amlogic s905L?

Does anyone know what is the real specs of this board. I try to boot armbian in pendrive into it but it always boot to the android system or in recovery.  I try the different device tree but it always the same result.

What build are you using?  What instructions are you following? What uboot are you using?  What dtd?

I am using Armbian_23.5.0-trunk.194_Aml-s9xx-box_bookworm_edge_6.4.11_minimal.img, I am following your instruction in installing it in amlogic SoC, I am using either the u-boot-s905 or u-boot s905x-s912 and the dtb i don't know which will work i try the p211 with it. The current firmware installed to my box is not the firmware comes with it because i already brick it once. That's why the model in the case is not matching on the specs. I hope you can help me. Thank you

This is the uboot you want to use.  I updated the amlogic installation instructions over the weekend to add the cpu to uboot and dtb family maping information.

What firmware is installed then?

I have the same problem, this is what I did:
Download the firmware from this page the xfce
https://www.armbian.com/amlogic-s9xx-tv-box/
My SD is 64 GB in FAT 32
Use BalenaEtcher and win32disk

I made a copy of "u-boot-s905x-s912" and renamed it u-boot.ext


This is my extlinux file:




I insert SD and press the AV button and connect power and it only reaches the Android recovery

The directory listing you show has files from 2020.  But this download page doesn't have anything that old.  You are not using builds that are current.

On that page at the bottom, I downloaded these, jammy, book, noble in xfce

Those are not what you have installed on that SD card.

I'm sorry, I forgot that in this SD I have another OS that I found, but in the same way with these installed following the same steps, Linux does not load, is there anything I can do?

If you are getting the android recovery you are holding the reset button too long.

 

Have you ever installed and/or run any other OS on this box other than the preinstalled android?

The moment it gives an image that says android, I stop pressing the button.
No, I have never installed another OS before.

After releasing the button, then remove the power and plug the power back in. What happens then?

 

Also what dtbs have you tried?

Based on what my android recovery says, use the following dtb amlogic "meson-gxl-s905x-p212.dtb"

Is that the only dtb you have tried?  Per the instructions you should try all the meson-gxl dtbs to find the one that comes closest to matching your hardware.  P212 is just the reference dtb and doesn't really indicate much.
