Wlan0 stopped showing up on Beelink GT1 Ultimate

Since some upgrades ago, the wlan0 stopped showing. Maybe it got jealous of the usb wifi dongle. They used to play along as wlan0 and wlan1 but that is no more.

Can you be more specific?  Having the system information for the working system would be necessary to understand your situation and the differences between working and not working.

You are on 23.8.1 with kernel 6.1.59. Thats pretty old. Why not try updating to latest packages. Might fix your issue

But we need to know what you upgraded from.

I upgraded from the image of August or July this year. Since then, I kept running apt-get update/full-upgrade/dist-upgrade once in a while.

Did you do anything special for your original install?  What dtb file did you use?

I would suggest rolling back to an older Linux kernel to see if the issue is there (use armbian-config)

No, I didn't change a thing. Things just break after upgrading. 

Today I did sudo apt-get update and apt-get full-upgrade after many months of not using the box, and broke agian.

The kernel is now 6.12.32 and I can see that /boot/dtb/amlogic got updated to a June 4 date.

sudo rfkill list shows nothing.

Since this issue is well over a year old, I'm not sure where you stand with this.  Are you still looking to get a fix?  If so, answering all of the questions asked would be helpful.

When you say "broke again" what do you mean by broke?  Apparently the box is running and you can update it as you continue to update it per the message above saying you have upgraded to 6.12.32.

Have you tried a fresh image installed on a new SD card to see if that works (vs. your upgraded system)?
