Adding custom applications to the image

Hi,

 

Igor, it is a wonderful thing you got going on here

 

I would to add applications to the image by either installing them as anyone would (apt-get install ...) or by compiling source code for the desired applications.

 

What would be the approach to do so? I tried reading the messages on the forum and the documentation but could not find a way to do so.

 

Example: Mono (can either be added with apt-get or compiled.
