oliviernes Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 Armbianmonitor: https://paste.armbian.com/ihajajazom Hi, A Firefox configuration file seems missing in Lepotato images derived from Debian because a failure message is raised after starting Firefox. A firefox.conf file should be placed in /etc/armbian . An issue has been raised in the geckodriver repository of github.com/mozilla giving more details: https://github.com/mozilla/geckodriver/issues/2167 0 Quote
oliviernes Posted March 16, 2024 Author Posted March 16, 2024 I have just checked the last image Armbian Bookworm with Gnome Desktop and this one has a firefox.conf located in /etc/armbian . So the problem is solved for the Gnome Desktop and Cinnamon Interfaces. I was looking for an XFCE interface, so I picked one in the archives and those one have the problem of the firefox.conf file missing. So the problem is solved for the new releases and this topic can be closed. 0 Quote
oliviernes Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago (edited) The problem is still occurring with the Armbian Bookworm images using the XFCE interface. I closed the topic last year because all the Le Potato Bookworm images had been archived. However, it is now part of the current desktop images listed on the Le Potato page with Armbian Linux v6.12. I tested the Debian 12 (Bookworm) distribution with the XFCE variant, and the issue seen in the archived images—specifically, the missing firefox.conf file—is still present.
