TheNooter Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 Hi guys, I just installed Kodi on my Orange Pi Lite running Armbian. Everything worked very well, except for the fact that that there seemed to be no audio at all through my tv. I am a beginner, so I really don't know what to do at this point. I saw someone talking about editing the /etc/asound.conf file so it will transmit sound through the HDMI cable. However, I have no idea how to open a file in the Terminal. I would love to (at least) know how to open a file in the Terminal. Thanks in advance, TheNooter.
martinayotte Posted April 13, 2017 Posted April 13, 2017 There are several editors that can be used, but one of the easiest is call "nano". type "nano /etc/asound.conf", edit what you need, than save it by saying "yes" when exiting with "ctrl-x". 1
