kuraimangetsu Posted June 12 Posted June 12 Hi i installed an armbian img dirictly to the emmc, and i want to make a backup img file of it after installing and config few things on it! i can't use the "ddbr" command cuz it's already installed directly to the emmc. is there any other way? 0 Quote
SteeMan Posted June 12 Posted June 12 You can use ddbr. You just need to boot from an SD card so the emmc isn't being used and then run ddbr from the SD card to make the backup. 0 Quote

kuraimangetsu Posted June 13 Author Posted June 13 i use the SD card with multitool and stop the auto boot for U-boot but i don't know how to make it boot from SD card 0 Quote
SteeMan Posted June 13 Posted June 13 No you need to boot a full armbian from the SD card. If you have an armbian image on the SD card, it should boot from that before booting from emmc. 0 Quote
