Keybitemp Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Hello guys, it's day i'm trying everything to let my S905x TV Box run Armbian but i keep struggle at toothpick multiboot. Android recovery stays with the green android with the ! out of its tummy and hang with the "Cannot load volume /misc!" error. I opened the log and find out "failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0 on /sdcard by read-only (Device or resource busy)". I downloaded the image and wrote it on a 32GB MicroSD card via Rufus, Could someone please suggest me how to proceed? Thank you, Marco 0 Quote

SteeMan Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Read the part about having run *any* other distribution on your box before trying the armbian builds. 0 Quote
Keybitemp Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 As i wrote (and i remember well) i didn't install anything on the box. Lakka boot from microSD, if i remove It the regular tvbox system will load. I also tried using the tvbox update application but It doesn't find any file. 0 Quote
SteeMan Posted January 2 Posted January 2 The instructions don't say install, they say run. Running from SD card may/will change the boot environment on the mmc and prevent armbian from booting. If you have ever *run* another distribution on the box armbian may not run. You need to reinstall the original android firmware to reset things back to what armbian expects. 0 Quote
Keybitemp Posted January 2 Author Posted January 2 Then i'm stuck, i have absolutely no idea how to do It. Thank you anyway. 0 Quote
