sailorbg Posted Thursday at 02:54 PM Posted Thursday at 02:54 PM I've installed and run a/m OS. BUT i have a problem with MAK address changing at every reboot. How to avoid that ? Is it possible to install the OS on the emmc instead of SD card? 0 Quote
eselarm Posted Thursday at 05:19 PM Posted Thursday at 05:19 PM It all depends on that specific SBC and lowlevel init code. I don't know your board and maybe you changed U-Boot. But a high-level mitgation is to makes sure you set a MAC address in a NetworkManager connection file, see /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections Quote [ethernet] cloned-mac-address=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx 0 Quote

As far as I understood that running from the SD card is not a good. 0 Quote

As far as I understood that running from the SD card is not a good. I'd recommend looking at the script /root/install-aml.sh. This is the script that would copy from SD to emmc (if that was supported with your CPU). It is a pretty simple script and you can see the logic it uses to copy the root partition to another medium. 0 Quote
