zram instead of sdcard swap file?

Just wondered, if it would make more sense to use zram instead of a SD-card based swapfile by default?

I think on the mainline kernel (&ubuntu) something like zram-config can be used

 

zram is configured to take precedence over sdcard swapfile in swap

The only problem is - some kernels don't have zram enabled, some do - but as a module, so enabling it by default would require changing kernel configs at first.
