I have installed the latest stable Ubuntu desktop Legacy on BPI M1. The OS boot directly into the GUI. I am planning to use xrdp to remote desktop into OS from windows machine on same network. So I think it will be a good idea that BPI to boot directly into console to save some memory. If I need GUI then I can remotely connect from a windows machine. Is it a good approach? If yes, then how to configure to boot into console with minimum memory footprint.
