Opi PC on board sound with Jackctl is in slow motion

I use two Orange pi PC for music studio use with Jack, Ardour and several midi software to use with midi surface controls and keyboards. Everything works great with an external USB DAC but when I try to use the on board DAC through the HDMI output the sound comes out slowed down to maybe a third of the speed making everything sound like it's in slow motion. Any help to fix this would really be appreciated.
