Unable to find Bluetooth device on NanoPi M1+

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am using NanoPi M1+ device with Armbian Bionic kernel 4.14.y OS in it.

On doing hciconfig ... I get no output.

on doing hcitool dev ... the output is none too...

What is the issue here?

Why can't I see the bluetooth device of the device?

Almost all boards supported by Armbian have not Bluetooth setup since no body work on that task until recent days where someones have it working on NanoPC-T4.

It is mostly question of making sure UART for Bluetooth chip is enabled in DeviceTree as well as Power Enable GPIO pin, and loading firmware and do proper testing.

Check this link, although it is for NanoPC-T4, maybe the preocedure for M1 is almost the same :
