My recommendations to people who have this issue are the following 1 - if you are a *SERIOUS* modder or electronics engineer you will know all about bench power supplies and there benefits. 2 - for others who aren't in this category. I would like to share with you my preferred method to deliver power to dev boards. I utilse these shown in the link below. I have found these type to be incredibly stable after 18 months of running one nonstop on a live system i can happily describe them as rock solid and superbly over engineered for the task at hand.
