  1. Get yourself a cheap external power bank...like the kind you use to recharge your phone and cut the micro-B plug off the cable and attach power and ground wires to the proper header pins. The drawback is the power bank will have a separate connector to charge.
  2. Dear Igor & Thomas (@igor & @tkaiser ) Please redirect me to the best starting point for a NON-official Orange Pi Android release for Orange Pi One. No good one from the folks at Orange Pi (heat, no USB, blah blah, blah), which you know. There is also no simple consensus on an alternate, but you guys are obviously rocking the Armbian standard for Orange Pi boards. There are several posts and videos that mention you by name and links that are directing Orange Pi users to Armbian..thank you so much. BTW, we are looking for an image to start, but we'll be getting the source tree and doing some mods as we are running Android headless with the only control as the power button...Fun! Best, Kevin
  3. @tkaiser ... This is great. In fact, this is just the information we need to optimize our Orange Pi One which is running Android headless.
  4. Dear Igor & Thomas, I don't know if this is the appropriate thread, but here goes: Just purchased two Orange Pi One SBCs. Got them up and running with the official android distro from the Orange Pi site. Lots of problems, which you know. I had given up too easily. OrangePi support forum is a mass of confused newbs...then a few people mentioned your names here on Armbian. I did some research and it seems I need beelink X2 android w/ Armbian which you have ironed the bugs out for Orange Pi One/PC (and probably more). Please post a link to a how-to or another thread that gives me instructions on how to proceed. Thanks in advance, Kind regards, Kevin
