What to say guys , first of all  BIG THANKS TO ALL ;)

The eth0 is connected and internet is running ,

Now I have to test the connections . Into the orange pi I will write a tcp server and in android or desktop I will write a client .

If the data exchange well I have resolved a lot of troubles .

    ciao

  2. Igor ...here you wrote

    2-Link /etc/network/interfaces.hostapd to /etc/network/interfaces

What does it mean, what to write and where ?

    I'm compiling the go.sh .....

But where to add  " op_mode=2 " .....inside hostapd.conf which is packed in your hpstapd project , and then go.sh again ?

  3. tkaiser, thanks for yours preciouses info.

    I made this way

    dd if=/dev/sdh of=/dev/sdb

from 8 Gb --> 8 Gb , it seems to work well .But long time and then I did also

    dd if=/dev/sdh of=/home/walter/Armbian_backup/Armbian_bck.img

on Ubuntu ,and now I have the complete image in less time . I hope to restore I will type

    dd if=/home/walter/Armbian_backup/Armbian_bck.img of=/dev/sdh

or I copy the image on windows and I will use Win32ImageWriter

    Ok guys , now I'm cool ..... :)

  4. I did the same job under Ubuntu desktop pc but nothing

    dd if=/dev/sdb1 of=/dev/sdg1

    where

sdb1= sds card that I use with orange pi

sdg1= new sd card where I want to put the clone

I don't want to believe that here you are a lot of wizard in linux and nobody know how to clone an sd card .....

  5. I think there are too much confusion .....I try but it doens't work

Could someone reorganize this article and write the procedure as well ?

Image of our orange pi is very important ....I have also GParted , What Can I use it ?....to format ?

  6. well. ....I would like to create an sd card as backup completed of system ,programs, and datas.

Try to image ....now I use an sd card to start armbian and I have already installed a lot of programs, services, netbeans project and else.

If the card crashes ?  I have to reinstall all from the beginning ....or not?

But if I have my copy of the card I just change the sd card and start without any problem.....

I hope now is clean what I'd like to do :(

  7. @wildcat

How to install SD Card Copier on Armbian ?

    I don't have in accessories list .... :(

I have inserted my new SD card into an USB adapter and then plugged into my orange pi

With GParted I can see the new card ...and now ?

  8. hello guys !!!

I want to make a backup of my sd card with armbian and other installed on it .

In windows not possible because the ext3-4 format of the card . In ubuntu I can see the armbian file system into the card but not copy because I don't have permission

So , I put again the card into my orange pi and I type sudo su and then password . I tyoe also sudo -s but nothing . Pratically some folders are not "visible"

    Do you have any suggestion?

    ciao

    Walter

  9. @rodolfo

I know you like me ....but at the moment I'm waiting for a dongles , differents kinds of them also to use on kali .

But now I have the orange pi plus 2 with on board wifi and I cannot test your code ....I mean I have tested but I fail because I don't have the dongle .

Anyway , don't worry because I will test soon and start to run android wifi client connected to orange pi and manage the GPIO over wifi ..... ;)

At the moment I'm installing all I need on armbian and it seems to run well , apache2, mysql, samba, phpadmin and more .GPIO's are running well too.

Just the fuckin' wifi but  I think positive and I exchange energy with the universe , so because I'm sure to get satisfations for the next future .

    ciao

    Walter
