Well, after a -lot- of mucking about, including rebuilding a kernel, we are almost there.. usb-redirector works on low bandwith stuff (up to around 8-10Mb/s) on the ethernet interface. I'm wondering if we can only 'do' USB1.1 CPU usage is nothing to get excited about.. One wonders if there are any reasons I can't/won't get any more through from the bridge that is set up between USB and eth0. I'm using an SDR play duo (single mode) in case you're wondering.. TD

Many thanks for the commit, Rebuilding a Kernel is a bit beyond me at the moment for the TB. (will need to set up a dev enviroment somwhere to x-compile/learn when I get time.) In the meantime will await a nightly non-desktop build.

Hello, Has anyone managed to get usb-redirector working? 4.14.70-rockchip and headers. with 'arm' It installs ok, and the driver loads... lsmod and dmesg confirms. Module Size Used by tusbd 126976 0 but when I try one the binaries, it just returns me back to the prompt.??? (i've tried other versions arm-eabi. armeb, that just returns file not found when using a binary) Many thanks. Mark
  5. Superb, just what I needed, now bookmarked for future ref. Many thanks.
  6. Hi Igor and all, back after a long absence, Have been using Cubie2s since 2015, rock solid with Armbian. I've now moved as cubies don't support gigabit, and the Pi gigabit interface is limited. So I now have a tinkerboard and popped Stretch mainline kernel 4.14.y onto an SDcard. Linux tinkerboard 4.14.67-rockchip #88 SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 29 15:07:29 CEST 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux I want to compile the faithfull usb-redirector against the headers, but sudo apt-get install linux-headers-`uname -r` results in not found. Bit of noob question, but I've trawlled around, but can't seem to find source/headers or should I move to a diffrent version? Mark
  7. Igor, Firstly, many thanks for some fantastic work.... I use your images for Audio streaming via USB. I have a cambridge Audio DAC sitting on the USB port and it works 99% flawlessly, even at 192k/24bit with only the occasional pop etc. I've noticed though that after a while, the "server" starts to have problems and the browsing of server stops working, with unused devices disappearing. A reboot is the only way to resolve. I've also noticed a possible memory leak and with a bit of googling, I see there's a problem with.. "Kernels versions 2.6.25 through 2.6.28.8 have a bug in USB EHCI controller driver that leads to large memory leaks with isochronous devices like webcams or audio devices." I do know that DACs use isochronous as other usb sharing devices I have it simply dosn't work. Question, does your version of 3.4.107-cubietruck have this issue as it would then provide an answer to some of the problems. I must admit, I'm quite adept at configuring things, but when it comes to pathces and re-compliling, I get a bit lost as what extactly I need to do to bring in a change. your latest version v3.9 / 11.6.2015 dosen't include usb sharing, do you have any plans to re-include this in the future? btw, Sloveina.. Lovely loverly country, we stayed in Bled for a couple of weeks, we will be going back! Best Regards MarkA
