I have read the latest posts and decided to upgrade Armbian logo. I wanted to do something simple, but it may be easier circle, a square and a triangle ? Here are the result

I am aware of proper identity absence, but we are struggling to catch expansion of the project. There was no plan for anything like this in first place 
 
In any case we made a progress with this challenge - we have new, more minimalist / safe identity and a selection of identity variations. Associations to Armbian are reliability, stability, level of support. In this case minimalist approach make sense - all this stuff is abstract, hard to visualize. For me ...
 
Identity problem at least hasn't got worsen and if someone takes lead on developing true identity, I am more than happy to give the burden / sub project away. Seriously.
 
We are running the project still on hobby level, so awards for the job are in this scope. For leading and design. Two person already expressed willingness to help around design in general so we might get a graphics design section within Armbian. This should become one of their core long term tasks.

That wall paper looks too much like an old Apple default wallpaper. 

The problem was in the cardreader . Replaced cardreader and everything is ok. But noticed an interesting thing - if you remove the card with operating system and insert a card with a broken system, and then insert cart with good OS - Oprange PI will not boot.

Our default desktop wallpaper was done quickly and its not state of the art  We decided to give you an opportunity to make a better one within this small contest. The best work will become a part of our desktop and the best of the best will become our default.
 

 
Rules and guidelines:
 
- minimalist design, dark and light version
- embedded our logo and font in any color combination and size.
- it must be your own creation
- final work should be named and be available in following formats: 1920x1080, 3840x2160, 1650x1050, 1440x1080, 1280x1024
- it must be added as single image into the post and attached as ZIP with all formats as a reply on this topic. 
 
Prize for the winner
 
We will chose the best submission which will become next default desktop wallpaper. If we could not decide, we'll put it on vote. Winner of this small contest will be rewarded with Orange PI+ 2E.
 

 
Deadline
 
We will accept submission until December 1st, 2016, than we will take a week to decide.
