@prahal I have tried from ssh "smartctl -d sat -i /dev/sdc" and "smartctl -d sat -i /dev/sdd", the first has take 50 seconds, the second has take 1 minute. However with -d sat option it's more faster than the week ago but run "smartctl -d sat -i /dev/sda" it's take just 1 seconds. It's normal that time or not?

hi, thakk You for the answer, but my old monitor have a DVI connection and not VGA connection... so the adapter that I have is from HDMI side box and dvi side monitor. adapter is DVI-D type, so side hardware doesn't to be compatibility issue. As written by @MattWestB seems that it's due to video mode, but I don't know if there is and how add this patch Hi, I was thinking that @jock and @fabiobassa doesn't know for the existing of your nand driver. If You don't want that is made an armbian image with your driver no problem.

Dear to all, I have a Helios64 unit with 2 hdd (both WD60EFRX). I have bought also an external enclousure UGREEN 5 Bay Hard Drive Enclosure ( https://eu.ugreen.com/collections/hard-drive-enclosures/products/ugreen-5-bay-hard-drive-enclosure-5-x-18tb-raid-array-hard-disk-docking-station ) and 2 WD140EDGZ and these 2 hdd are mounted inside UGREEN enclousure because I want format and test it (when all will work fine I'll exchange a WD60EFRX with a WD140EDGZ so the drives inside the enclousure will have a backup scope). The enclousure is powered by external adapter, the system image installed is the Armbian 22.02.1 with Linux kernel 5.15.93-rockchip 64 and openmediavault 6.6.0-2 (Shaitan). If I have the enclousure turned off and from open media vault access to smart drive section (storage -> S.M.A.R.T. -> device section), the smart information (related to the 2 WD60EFRX) are showed in about 4-5 seconds but if I turn on the enclousure with the 2 device WD140EDGZ , the smart drive section is showed after 4 minutes. Sometimes the section isn't showed but it's showed an error message "Http failure response for http://192.168.1.44/rpc.php: 504 Gateway Time-out". I'm sure that this problem occur also with the transfer of files (hoping that doesn't occur wrong data information transfer with damaged files also) and I have already googled for this issue on the web but I haven't found nothing that help me to solve the issue. I attach here the 2 dmesg output that I have take from 2 distinct session with putty dmesg of first session dmesg of second session my question is: the problem it's related from standard drivers inside the image, from the kernel or it's necessary take manufacturer driver source and compile it? How can I solve this issue? Hope that somebody help me Best regards

@all ilmich has told me that he have made a port driver of NAND in his libreelec build. The driver is available here https://github.com/ilmich/LibreELEC.tv/tree/libreelec-10.0/projects/Rockchip/devices/RK322x/patches/linux/default . If somebody is interested, he can try to make an image armbian with kernel 5.10. I have forgot another issue with armbian legacy image: the board doesn't work on my old monitor 1280*1024. The monitor plug was of dvi type and I have used an adapter hdmi-dvi... Can be this the cause?

I have tried to play a blu-ray image, but vlc is very slow and I have see only a frame with some squares. I think that isn't enabled hardware decoding. How can enable it? Can I ask here or I must open a thread ? I'm sure that mxq pro can play h264 stream full hd so the cause isn't a hardware limit

I have made trial setting 660 mhz as frequency ram but sometimes don't boot. So right value for the ram is set item default (that don't specifies the frequency value). Another doubt it's related to first voice (RK3228A vs RK3228B) ... I have set RK3228A with a low frequency but I don't know if RK3228B can be usable. Yesterday I have compiled MakeMKV and all works fine after more then 2 hours of working task. ok, but how do You have calculated that value? Because I have found ddr3-1600 mhz. Moreover, I have another doubt: can be possible that a lower frequency can made system instable? My basically knowledge about overclock was related to the fact that only higher frequency than standard can cause instability issue. However, I'll do just a last trial at 660, if system doesn't boot I'll set default.

ok, I have rerunned rk322x-config and I get this screen Yesterday I go in a hurry so I don't have seen chip type above value "RK3228A/B" (so android log was wrong). Today I have setted value to RK3228A, system is more slow but every time that plug the power now it's boot. Question now is : I have a RK3228A or RK3228B chip ? After this there is ram frequency setting scared from Android chip, I have set default ... but how can I find correct setting? same thing for led setting: what does it mean for "markings of the board" ? Finally for wifi chip there are 2 chooice: "0 ssv6051" and "1 ssv6x5x". I have choose always 0 I think that I'm near to configure this device

ok question is: if nand memory is damaged than boot fails every time and not a time yes and another time not. Moreover, same issue happen when I have set jumpstart from multitool and flashed legacy image into sd card. Can be bootloader damaged? @RaptorSDS I have linked UART and happen very strange things. First scenario: box boot fine, armbian desktop is showed, I reboot and this time monitor goes to standby mode (I can check this because when it's go to standby mode the monitor led is orange while when box send signal , also black screen, led is blue). This is the log that I can get from UART: scenario 2: I insert cha341 programmer usb into my pc, plugin the box cable and this time, differently from yesterday I'll get this screen monitor (there are 2 images because I have made 2 tried but after that images system stop there and no more happens) while yesterday led monitor was blue but screen was black and the following log UART p.s.: another thing. In the log is written DDR Version V1.06 20170902_dbg In 300MHz DDR3 it's a value setted from bootloader in emergency mode or it's the standard frequency ?(in that case however I have the doubt about log with android image)

A couple of hours ago I have flashed multiboot, load multiboot one time on the box, copy the legacy image and finally I can boot armbian from Nand. But reboot issue still remain, so I think that the last thing to do is update bootloader. But I don't know if pc still detect box

sometimes boot correctly until desktop, other times no. (but , compared to other days, monitor doesn't go in energy saver mode). it's possible write actual sd image to nand?
