  1. I would use this to replace my current NanoPC-T6 home server, as this lies freely within an ATX case in my 19inch rack ... the Rock5 ITX would definitely fit better into the case, and I could also use the plugs on the ATX header much better. (The NanoPC-T6 will then be used for some other projects ... definitely some AI related stuff :D)
  2. I would use the M7 to build an AI enhanced Cat Flap, which could distinguish my own cat from all the other ones in my neighborhood (especially the direct neighbor's cat won't stop sneaking in at night and bringing chaos to our kitchen )
  3. Good Idea, will do that in the evening today
  4. Thanks for the hint to the wip board config ... I did some builds in the weekend and can confirm that bookworm legacy is working pretty well - only thing was that I had to enable all the dvb drivers as they were not enabled in the kernel config ... Besides from using it as NAS with a JMB585 PCI-E card, I also want to use the T6 as VDR server with DVB-S adapters I also tried edge - was compiling, but not bootable as noted here:
  5. Btw...: just tested the nvme speed with a Crucial P3 Plus 2TB SSD ...: pi@NanoPC-T6:~$ sudo hdparm -Tt /dev/nvme0n1 /dev/nvme0n1: Timing cached reads: 8364 MB in 2.00 seconds = 4185.14 MB/sec Timing buffered disk reads: 5854 MB in 3.00 seconds = 1951.17 MB/sec looks promising
