As a proof of concept, I've been using a Raspberry Pi 5 for a home theater pc as a replacement for a roku. I haven't been impressed with it's performance and it doesn't support enough storage to be a true nas. The additional sata ports on the rock 5 and the improved gpu would be a big step up.
