Thank you very much for your answer! I have no problem to install vnc and browsers on linux environment I have problem only with this armbian release and wanted to take a shortcut and not download several dozen versions trying all of them one by one. So I've chosen a latest Ubuntu desktop and everything is fine now, everything working out of the box . And it doesn't call itself Rock64 anymore...

Hi, I'm a little bit lost which version I should install to my S912 box. I would like to replace a Raspi 3 (runs Debian 9.8 with desktop) with an S912 box (H96 Pro 3GB) and I want run it headless and control through VNC and ssh. I randomly pick Armbian_5.76_Aml-s912_Debian_stretch_default_4.20.5_desktop_20190224.img but cannot get any VNC server work on it. Could you recommend a version (5.34 to 5.78) which can run a VNC server? And a working web browser at least?

500000 is still only 500kHz...

You should try and see. My TFT (3.5" 320x480) has a 24 MHz limit.

Why do you want 16 bits?

Orange Pi Zero working fine for me (ttyS1 on pin 8, pin 10) with this settings in script.fex: [uart1] uart_used = 1 uart_port = 1 uart_type = 2 uart_tx = port:PG06<2><1><default><default> uart_rx = port:PG07<2><1><default><default> There is no [gpio_para] section.

I'm also looking for a RPi.GPIO compatible solution so I can use my python codes wriiten for raspis. It's not only the lack of interrupts but all the setting commands are different. If someone finds or writes one please share it here.

I thought S912 has Mali T820...

For me more interesting is a mali driver for S912...

diaamant: Do you think there is any interesting stuff inside? I don't think so.

In case if somebody interested in then kszaq has just released an alpha preview build of LibreElec for S912. It works with balbes150's q912_otg.dtb. You can find it in the thread above.

You are right, I tried again and I can use the 5 GHz networks. It's much faster (80Mbps vs 30Mbps) than the 2.4 GHz (on the same router).

I've got the 6255 driver from here and I can connect to a 2.4GHz network on H96 Pro 3GB/16GB. Unfortunately it cannot see the 5 GHz networks. BT device not present. Edit: It sees the 5GHz networks too.

When the desktop starts I got this message: Should I delete it or not?

OK. Thank you!
