Sorry, don't know. If Google doesn't know it probably doesn't exists. 

I am not familiar with FreeBSD to say if it can be implement the same way as Debian/Ubuntu. In any case there is probably quite some work to be done.

Support has gone very deep and i was able to boot into serial console last year (i dont know what its capable of now).

in fact, I wanted to install freebsd, in order to then patch the nas4free to run, but I just saw recently that there was now a version of nas4free for arm processor. cubietruck unfortunately is not (yet) supported.

Netbsd works well with a bottleneck for sata speed.  About 10% of the speed of armbian.  FreeBSD will boot with the a20 kernel but lacks support for just about anything more than booting and logging in as it is intended for cubieboard2.  ethernet also fails.
