Netplan is missing in armbian bionic (for tinkerboard)

I am new to Armbian, please bear with me if I am making any wrong steps or assumptions.

 

I installed the armbian bionics for the Asus Tinkerboard.

I was expecting the netplan command and the /etc/netplan dir exist, but both are missing.

Looks like it's not installed at all. Is there a way to have this working? I am already used to netplan to configure the networks.

Yes that article helped! There is a little error in the article though. The correct package name is 'netplan.io', not netplan.
