So I Bought a tv stick and used it on a tv off and on over the years and at one point wanted to run Linux on it and see if I could get it to recognize a usb network card and run asterisk or something.

i tried all sorts of things gave up.  Its been a long while now I still have this  and a A10S version  and I have scoured the internet trying to find some sort of support.  Heck of alot of support for diffrent A10 a20 stuff but almost nothing for the MK802 tv stick.  I think i bought mine when they first came out.

Can someone give me a link or push me in the right direction. i would love to run Arbian on it. i am a huge Debian fan I run all my servers for clients on Debian and have build many inhouse and online VM Debian servers for various tasks!

I have and am familiar with the site many years ago I was on it. Currently I need some idea what i need to do not just here is the board here is a file! What I need to know is where to start.

I am told  I need a certain file with the configuration or something and I have to make a bootable sd  card .. I need to hold the reset button a certain way to power up. i need some sort of tutorial that walks me though these parts and finnaly the version of armbian that would work with my device.
https://linux-sunxi.org/Rikomagic_mk802

I scour the net i find ubuntu images and some old setup videos (I did one for a newer better after market firmware for android and it worked but really i do not rember how  or could not tell you where I got the tutorial to do it. I imagine its gone. i have not had much luck finding anything or anyone playing with a mk802 like me trying to load a recent version of armbian.

I am willing to try it and document it here I just need some thing more then the manufacturer page. I was hoping some tutorial or someone who did it with a similar device all the steps required in the certain order..  anything..

Note I m a new user and it took a while to get verified and my post published now I am " You have reached the maximum number of posts you can make per day. " seems to be a limit of 1 per day.   This does not help me so please i have to wait once per day to respond (cruel punishment for new people) I sure hope it stops a whack of spam
