How to set up the time?

I have a orange pi plus 2e

The time  was ok a few days ago but now it is off by - 12 hrs +53 minutes which is before gmt

Usually ntpd/chrony should take care for that. You could try to restart the equivalent daemon and check the logs if the times is correct again.

No need for an open port. A working internet connection is sufficient.
