TechnoFuddy Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 I successfully installed Armbian 20.08.1 to eMMC, and it works fine. Now, I want to try Raspberry OS (I'm told that it works?) but regardless of what I put on my uSD card (I've tried several OS's) - when rebooting the OPi 3+, it always comes up with the eMMC Armbian load. In researching this, I read over and over that the uSD card always has priority over the eMMC. Is this still true with the current version of Armbian? What could explain the behavior I'm seeing? I tried the Install to/update booth loader, both option, with no change in behavior. Any thoughts?

Its (re)branded Debian with a special kernel that only boots on Rpi and supports its functions. BTW. Boot priority is defined by the chip and usually its SD card first. Armbian can't changing it (much).
