Clownfish Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Is there a way to share my Armbian screen with another computer, like I can do early with Ubuntu? I have my Armbian machine in one room, and I need to be able to control whatever is running there from my other computer in a different room. I can do this easily with Ubuntu's screen share option. How can I do that with Armbian? Peter
Werner Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 Most likely the same way as you are used to with Ubuntu and Debian. The userspace is mostly unmodified but the kernel package is different to support your SBC (way) better than upstream
Clownfish Posted November 19, 2020 Author Posted November 19, 2020 (edited) I spent all day trying to get Tight VNC to work, but I have one of two problems that kept popping up: 1. The screen would use be a black grey screen and the curser was an "x". Useless. 2. The screen seemed to work, but it was not the same screen that was on the NanoPC. That is, my aps where nor even there. I need to share the same user/desktop / not start up a new one. I never had these issues on my Ubuntu system, so I'm at a loss.
