The dtb you reference is not part of the distribution. So a new user couldn't follow the general installation instructions and get your results. As was mentioned in the instructions, you need to only use files from the distribution. You can add comments about how other settings/dtbs/tweeks improved your installation. Also if you are referencing external code, I would request that you also include or link to source code not the compiled objects (i.e. dts vs. dtb). That way in the future someone may be able to maintain this addon/feature as changes to the underlying kernel/environment require.

uppi
Hello , how did you manage to boot it? Which method did you use? I tried both the tooth pick and the direct update to install from settings method, and both didn't work/

uppi
Thanks. But the newer version of the images don't follow same instructions and u-boot.ext was not working for me. So I started looking for the older image files That worked perfectly for me. I have installed it in eMMC and working great. Currently using it as a headless server for my home network with Adguard and samba server with External HDD. USB 3.0 and Gigabit Ethernet are working great.

Do you have links to the files you used, mainly the old image file? I am also going to use my H96 MAX X3 as a headless server.
ravijol1
Could you please link your u-boot.ext file for download?

If you were to follow the instructions in the FAQ item (https://forum.armbian.com/topic/17106-installation-instructions-for-tv-boxes-with-amlogic-cpus) this is the uboot file that should be used for this cpu.
