BananaPi running image for BananaPi Pro?

Hi!

 

There are Images for an old/original Lemaker "Banana Pi" up to 03/2021 in the archive, but from that time onward it seems like only "Banana Pi Pro" is supported with new images.

 

Is it possible and save to use such "Banana Pi Pro"-image for the old Banana Pi too or should I stick to the last archived version of the "Banana Pi"-image?

 

Datasheet looks almost identically, both with same SOC Allwinner20 and CPU CortexA7 and only the SD-slot and GPIO-pins are different, so I thought I'd try the Pro-Image, which also does install and run ok. But I have strange issues running some software (iobroker) afterwards, so I'm not sure if this might be caused due wrong images  being used.

Archive contain older images. Use the one from the download section - images that are aligned with your model regardless of the date diff, read FAQ, get support to give some fraction back ... and wait for:
