SuperMaximus
@jock I do appreciate your valuable hint regarding 8723ds driver adding in manual kernel compilation, but everytime I do sudo apt full-upgrade eventually I get my driver wiped out from the system. Could you please advise what should I do in this case to avoid it? Should I manually patch kernel manually again?
jock
@SuperMaximus don't do full-upgrade until the driver is enabled in mainline armbian. I'm going to do merge the config bits right now, but I don't know when the next kernel update will be upstreamed to armbian repository. Could take days, or weeks. Perhaps @Igor may give a hint about. edit: yet consider that your board is not officially supported, because it is a Tinkerboard S R2.0; I'm not aware about the differences from the regular Tinkerboard S Rev 1.01. Support is best effort.

I have tested upgrades last week, but system is on POC level. @SuperMaximus Since you are using us to help you to make money, this is one way to do the right thing: or by choosing https://forum.armbian.com/subscriptions/. If this is too much., then please do not remove our logo from your product, ok?
SuperMaximus
@Igor Not yet:) I am using Tinkerboard to automate a house boiler room so far. But, nevertheless I just joined the donators as I consider this forum helpful! I am OK to be Tinkerboard S R2.0 tester to make it fully supported by Armbian.

People usually wants to change boot logo on commercial deployments. 8 minutes ago, SuperMaximus said: to be Tinkerboard S R2.0 tester But we don't need that, as we have bugs on the list for several years already.
