Coby Levy Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 hi guys, using Armbian 23.02.2 Buster with Linux 5.15.93-sunxi on a NanoPi Neo Core LTS. I configured cron to do a daily reboot at 00:30. Every 10-20 days the system is becoming unresponsive unless I do a power cycle. Where should I begin to investigate this issue? Thank you 0 Quote
Werner Posted November 16, 2023 Posted November 16, 2023 Start with bumping to the latest release and kernel. We cannot support any older releases besides current one. Also check powering and wiring. Sometimes voltage slightly above 5v is handy to compensate loss due to wires and contact resistance. 0 Quote
sFeri01 Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I have a similar problem, without me rebooting it. I'm just running pihole on it and after a week or two it hangs. I'm using armbian bookworm with 6.6.16-current-sunxi kernel on a NanoPi Neo LTS. I think it might be related to the CPU scheduler being changed to schedutil. Previously I was running it on constant 480 MHz (as far as I know, it was also the default setting) but now it might go up to 1296 MHz and the CPU governor settings in armbian-config are deprecated. Maybe my old phone charger just cant handle the power spikes with the higher clock speeds or it might be an overheating issue. I'm changing the power supply to a better one and we'll see. 0 Quote
