kittfannr1
Hello Guys, I want to use airodump-ng (Aircrack-ng Suite) or Kismet to get all WiFi Clients in the area. For that, I would like to use the internal WiFi Chipset (so I don't have to use an external WiFi Dongle). My problem is, after I enable the monitor mode (with iwconfig and/or airmon-ng), which gives me no error and it says, the monitor mode is enabled, I am getting no results with Airodump-ng nor Kismet. Are there any solutions for this problem? Is is the driver not capeable of using monitor mode? Thanks in advance, KittFanNr1

tkaiser
Last sentence here: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib.docs/blob/master/docs/known_issues/sun8i.md Anyone ever thought about the sentence 'You get what you paid for'? Is OPi Lite (search forum for monitor mode) really too expensive? Does it make really that much sense to choose crappiest Wi-FI possible to 'get all Wi-Fi in the area'? I used NetSpot on OS X by accident for approx 48 hours recently at home. Internal Wi-Fi on my MacBook reported 139 networks being found (14 in 5GHz band, all the others in unusable 2.4GHz band). With these el cheapo crappy Wi-Fi implementations on those cheap SBC I got never more than 15 networks listed: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib/issues/493#issuecomment-252654120 ). So even when choosing a board where monitor mode is already confirmed to work it's obvious that this cheap stuff misses almost everything you would be interested in.
