Hello everyone, I have an Orange Pi Lite and I have a problem when I try to shut down the system, I receive stack errors. I've recorded a video to see if it detects what the problem is, I'm new to armbian and linux in general. Except for a bug that occurs in the partition several times (on two different microsd cards), I do not know what the problem might be, I read that it could be a kernel bug, but I'm not sure. I put the video link to see if anyone can help me, it is slowed down so it can be read. If I do not try to turn it off, everything works fine, but when I try to turn it off, it gives the errors and restarts as seen in the video.

Thanks in advance.

PD:Sorry for my english.

EDIT: Errors occur if you update (using the Retropie-Setup script).

I don't see much from this video except some errors related to SD card. Such crash can be caused by some bad 3rd party driver, bad power supply, bad SD card, wrong configuration, ...

First and the most simple step is to exchange all hardware parts, one by one. SD card, cables, PSU, ...

Ok, I came to the conclusion, that the problem is caused by the kernel update. I'm recovery the original img from first sd card, and it works ok. When I updated the kernel, it fails again.

The fault occurs with reboot, poweroff, shutdown ... I think the problem is between the kernel and acpi. I will wait for an update in which this is corrected.

Now, I looking for use the power button to switch on using gpio, but so far nothing.

Thanks.

Off yes, while On is not possible to have on those boards without additional hardware. You need to have some sort of PMU - Banana Pi, Cubietruck, ...

And fact that you are using Retrorange Pi is also a problem. It's not Armbian but based on Armbian, different enough that is harder to catch a problem.

I'm viewing the possibility of use a hardware reset included on the schematic blueprints to turn it on again.
