Mali driver for Orange Pi Plus with Armbian Legacy 3.4.113 (Ubuntu)

I am running the desktop Ubuntu Xenial legacy image from https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-plus/.

My goal is to setup the system for gaming, so I am looking to get the accelerated GPU performance.

A couple questions:

1. Does this image run with an accelerated driver enabled by default? When loading applications that use GL, I see a log about not being able to load the mali driver.

2. If not, where can I get the driver and how can it be enabled?

I know that distributions like RetrOrangePi include this by default, but I want to understand what they are loading so I can setup the system on my own.

Thank you!

Oh, just my luck - the build is from 2/2/17.

Is there a new image available for the Orange Pi Plus?

I just downloaded again, and the file has the same MD5 hash.

Yes, all images were rebuilt (5.2.) since they were built without video acceleration libraries. By mistake / with wrong parameter.

Do I need to download a whole new image or can I update my existing installation?

BTW, the legacy desktop images for Orange Pi PC and Orange Pi Plus still both have a 2/2/2017 build date, even though the file dates are 2/5.
