Igor Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 Armbian approach is little different because we also compile a dedicated / custom kernel and u-boot. Those things are at most important. You can easy issue and apt-get command or a script within image compilation process or later. I agree it's not the "Debian installer" way but it does the job. This is the build script: https://github.com/igorpecovnik/lib Armbian has already a very small footprint. You only get a carefully selected essentials - except desktop image but even that version doesn't have much stuff in it. All images comes with headers and are build ready.
