technik007_cz Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Hi guys, I am trying to get latest kernel on my cubietruck because from some reason I still have kernel + headers version 3.4.109 even I did "apt-get update -y && apt-get upgrade -y" or tried "apt-get dist-upgrade" My setup is boot on nand and root on /dev/sda1 on debian Jessie. Root system is about week old. When I run "aptitude reinstall ~ncubietruck" I will get this: START linux-u-boot-cubietruck-next is not currently installed, so it will not be reinstalled.linux-jessie-root-next-cubietruck is not currently installed, so it will not be reinstalled.linux-u-boot-cubietruck-next is not currently installed, so it will not be reinstalled.linux-jessie-root-next-cubietruck is not currently installed, so it will not be reinstalled. The following packages will be REINSTALLED: linux-jessie-root-cubietruck linux-u-boot-cubietruck0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 2 reinstalled, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.Need to get 0 B/2,005 kB of archives. technik007_cz Posted November 27, 2015 Author Posted November 27, 2015 UPDATE: I deleted folders in boot dir and repeated the aptitude command again and it finished without any complain like I expected.
