What it is sunxi-CODEC?

Hi all!

I just interested, what it is sunxi-CODEC and what's the difference between sunxi-sndi2s?

card 0: sunxicodec [sunxi-CODEC], device 0: M1 PCM [sunxi PCM]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: sunxisndi2s [sunxi-sndi2s], device 0: SUNXI-I2S sndi2s-0 []

sunxi-codec must be the analog inputs and outputs, and sndi2s is obviously the I2S interface.

Thanks, how to remove (if possible) the sunxi-codec from card list ?

Since it looks like the legacy kernel - no idea, maybe blacklisting some modules may work if audio drivers were built as modules or there may be some script.bin tweaks.
