lyndrik Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Posted yesterday at 08:58 AM Hi. Im sorry, if the question below has been already discussed and published somewhere, but i didnt find proper information. So, what i have: orangepi5max, https://github.com/armbian/build.git this armbian, https://github.com/rockchip-linux/kernel.git and this kernel, which is placed in armbian-build/kernel. I've tried to use "userpatches/linux-$LINUXFAMILY-$BRANCH.config" config from armbian manual, to specify path to kernel, but despite the fact that manual states, that my custom config should replace the default one, ./compile.sh ignores it. So what am i doing wrong and is it even possible nowadays to assebmle the image using local kernel or it is already restricted? 0 Quote
Werner Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM Posted yesterday at 01:36 PM Not sure if it is possible to use a local kernel source directory. At least I don't know how to do that. Easiest is probably just to create a repo and define url and branch in board your custom board config. 0 Quote
