Vanilla/Mainline kernel for cubox-i4pro

I would like to run a vanilla/mainline debian kernel on my cubox-i4pro but apparently there is no image available for download. Is that be because the vanilla kernel is not supported or nobody has yet build one?

There is no image yet, but it's possible to upgrade to it:
