spierepf Posted May 4, 2018 Share Posted May 4, 2018 I am having some difficulty producing audio on an orangepi zero using the images listed here: https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero/ No matter what I do, I cannot get any audio devices to show up in /proc/asound/cards There are a number of posts on here that suggest that audio doesn't work on version 4.x kernels. AFAIK audio is disabled on those boards by default. You need to enable it. With modern kernel, you can use armbian-config -> system -> hardware. Enable, save and reboot.
