rxg847 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 Hi, When I tried booting the vanilla kernel, downloaded from http://www.armbian.com/hummingboard/, on my Hummingboard i4 Pro, I get the following error message from u-boot: ERROR: Did not find a cmdline Flattened Device Tree Could not find a valid device tree Booting from net Has anyone else seen the same issue? Thanks.
rxg847 Posted February 26, 2016 Author Posted February 26, 2016 You have Hummingboard 2 ? Hi, Thanks for replying. I am kind of new and not aware what is Hummingboard 2. But I have the Hummingboard i4 Pro Quadcore model. Thanks.
Igor Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 I assume you have v2 which is not directly supported ... some small hack is needed: cp /boot/dtb/hummingboard.dtb /boot/dtb/hummingboard2.dtb You will need to mount sd card on some linux ... than it will boot. I will fix this problem in next update ... until then, you can do this. I only have V1.0 so I am not aware what does work and what not. BTW. You can attach or link a picture to make sure.
