Daniel San Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 instaled today this last version of armbian (4.14) and when trying to install "libmysqlclient-dev" i have the follow message: "Package libmysqlclient-dev is not avaliable, but is referred to by another package. This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or is only avaliable from another source. E: package 'libmysqlclient-dev' has no installation candidate" What shoolud i do? Cant found older armbian versions... Will armbian use libmysqlclient-dev again? I really need to use this lib, always have used before... thx for any assist! martinayotte Posted June 16, 2018 Share Posted June 16, 2018 It seems to be that it was present in Jessie, but not in Stretch anymore, not Armbian related since even Rasbian has the issue ... Try to use MariaDB instead. Quote MySQL has been replaced by MariaDB in Stretch.
