DeterminedOpier
Hi Igor. I think I found another inadvertenttant bug in the build since the desktop was unseparated out. The new build is calling chromium instead of chromium-browser, and it's breaking. It brings up a brief pink screen. When you call it from a window it calls this image below. Otherwise it is installing desktop on the H3 just fine.
Igor
What about apt-update and upgrade and trying again?
DeterminedOpier
It was after I did that. I can do it again later. There was no chromium-browser in the repositories btw.

Igor
Yes. I have many other problems and very little time. It can take a week or two.
Igor
I will not look into this at all. It's broken upstream package. We don't support that. This one will probably work: https://apt.armbian.com/pool/main/c/chromium-browser/chromium_69.0.3497.93-1~deb9u1_armhf.deb
DeterminedOpier
Oh cool. thanks.
DeterminedOpier
It worked Igor thanks. I'm not actually using the instance of the os beyond some basic testing of an idea and posted this for others having problems. If it is upstream hopefully it will fix itself. DeterminedOpier
If someone wants to use this deb, you do: sudo apt-remove --purge chromium wget https://apt.armbian.com/pool/main/c/chromium-browser/chromium_69.0.3497.93-1~deb9u1_armhf.deb sudo dpkg -i chromium_69.0.3497.93-1~deb9u1_armhf.deb
